شجرة العشيرة ليست شجرة عائلة صغيرة مكبّرة. فيها فروع كثيرة، وأشخاص كثيرون يريدون أن يساهموا، ومسؤولية أكبر تجاه أسماء الأحياء. هذا ما يحتاجه تنظيمها.A clan's tree is not a small family tree made bigger. It has many branches, many people who want to contribute, and a larger responsibility toward living relatives' names. This is what running one takes.
١. مشرف لكل فرع1. An admin for each branch
لا يستطيع شخص واحد أن يعرف آلاف الأسماء. اجعلوا لكل فرع كبير مشرفًا منه: هو من يضيف أسماء فرعه ويعتمد تصحيحاتهم. وسجلّ التغييرات يبيّن من أضاف ومن عدّل ومتى.No one person can know thousands of names. Give each large branch an admin from within it: they add their branch's names and approve its corrections. A change log shows who added or edited what, and when.

شجرة العشيرة فيها أسماء الأحياء وأماكنهم — فلا ينبغي أن تكون على الإنترنت مفتوحة. وزّعوا كلمات مشاهدة على البيوت، وافتحوا رابط الانضمام للأقارب الجدد حين تكونون جاهزين، وأغلقوه متى شئتم.A clan's tree holds living people's names and whereabouts — it should not be open on the internet. Hand out viewer passwords household by household, open a join link for new relatives when you are ready, and close it whenever you like.

حين يشارك المئات، تكثر الأخطاء بحسن نية. الأفضل أن يقترح كل قريب ويعتمد المشرف: يرى الخانة القديمة والجديدة، ويختار ما يعتمده، ولا يتغيّر شيء قبل موافقته.When hundreds take part, well-meant mistakes multiply. It is better for relatives to suggest and admins to approve: the admin sees the old and new value, chooses what to accept, and nothing changes before they do.

اطبعوا الشجرة — أو فرعًا منها — ملصقًا عتيقًا كبيرًا للديوان، من A3 حتى A0، أو ملفًا للمطبعة. وفي الاجتماعات، خريطة العائلة حول العالم تبيّن أين استقرّ أبناء العشيرة.Print the tree — or one branch of it — as a large vintage poster for the diwan, from A3 to A0, or as a file for the print shop. At gatherings, the family's world map shows where the clan's members have settled.
